Brookwood’s Wi-Fi is free of charge and can be accessed by anyone with a wireless ready laptop. Wireless access is available in common areas of the hospital such as the Main Lobby, Women’s Medical Center Main Lobby and will soon be expanded to all waiting rooms. All hospital patient rooms are currently Wi-Fi accessible, and current plans are to add wireless internet access to the professional office buildings on the Brookwood campus in the near future.
Brookwood’s wireless internet access includes basic content filtering and speeds up to 54 Mbps. Support and maintenance for the wireless network is provided by Brookwood Medical Center’s Information Systems department. (205-877-2092)
