   Volunteer Services

The Department of Volunteer Services assists the hospital in the delivery of health care.  This is done by recruiting and retaining competent volunteers to augment and expand the services of the hospital.  Brookwood Medical Center's volunteers give freely of their time, talents, energy and skills to provide special services to patients and visitors.

Our volunteers staff information desks throughout the hospital.  They are available to provide information pertaining to patients and directions to various areas of the hospital and physician offices.  Volunteers also deliver mail to patients, make deliveries from the Gift Shop as well as deliver requested reading materials to patients.
