Physicians from a variety of medical specialties provide surgical care for oncology patients in a technologically advanced surgical unit offering pre-admission testing and dedicated units for pre-operative and post-anesthesia care.
Inpatient Care
Specially trained nurses and support staff care for oncology patients on a dedicated unit in the hospital. Family members are also provided with a lounge complete with a flat screen television.
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Specialized rehabilitation programs such as Lymphedema Therapy and other customized treatment plans address areas for improved function and overall conditioning for oncology patients. Brookwood Outpatient Therapy services are conveniently located at the Gold’s Gym facility in Vestavia Hills.
