New Women's Medical Center

The new Women’s Medical Center provides advanced women’s care in a 121,000 square foot facility with five-star amenities. Created exclusively for our maternity and neonatal programs, each floor is designed with mother and baby in mind. Just like their babies, mothers will be entering a whole new world.

Each floor of the new facility offers a spacious waiting area decorated with local artwork and filled with ambient water sounds.  A comfortable family lounge provides the conveniences of home with features such as a stone fireplace, kitchen and laundry station. Two playrooms give younger family members their own retreat filled with toys and games. New moms will enjoy an array of in-room amenities and services including room service, refrigerators, Wi-fi, and flat screen TVs.

Nurse's Station

Brookwood Women’s Medical Center offers specialized services for all types of pregnancies. The new facility houses a dedicated water birthing suite, which features special amenities designed to accommodate natural birthing plans. Private neonatal intensive care rooms can accommodate single babies, as well as multiples (twins, triplets, quadruplets) to allow family and babies to stay together.

Before and after the baby is born, Brookwood’s specialized medical staff is dedicated to keeping mothers and their babies comfortable, calm and healthy. An anesthesiology team is dedicated exclusively to the Women’s Medical Center and personal nurses stay with the patients throughout labor and delivery. Brookwood’s neonatology and maternal-fetal medicine physicians are available around-the-clock. After delivery, moms will have access to Brookwood’s award-winning lactation center and 24-hour breastfeeding support.
